This link will provide students with the summer reading lists for grades K-4. This recommended list was created by the ELA Team at Griffith that goes along with Learn Zillion. Students can have the option to either go to the public library to check these books out or click on the link that is provided and listen to the book. These books were chosen to give students background knowledge on topics that will be discussed during the next school year.
Little things can make a big difference. The student council is helping to support the Ronald McDonald House of Chattanooga, TN by collecting the little tabs you pull to open soda, soup or other aluminum cans. The funds generated from recycling these aluminum gems help offset Houses' expenses. Collecting pop tabs is a great program that benefits the Ronald McDonald House families.
Fun Facts about can tabs
Approximately one million pull tabs = 800 pounds
Approximately 1,430 pull tabs = 1 pound
