  • Football Locker

     

    ACCEPTING BIDS

    July 10, 2024

    The Sequatchie County Board of Education is accepting sealed bids for construction and
    installation of 95 solid wooden lockers for the football field house. Each locker will
    measure approximately 24 inches wide x 24 inches deep x 7 feet tall. Each locker will
    have a lock box for small personal belongings located on an upper shelf. A sitting bench
    will include an open-air cubby for shoes under the bench and hooks to hang clothing. All
    lockers will be stained and/or have a durable poly finish.

    All sealed bids are to be turned in and clearly marked “ Football Locker Bids” to the Sequatchie
    County Board of Education at PO BOX 488 / 878 Cordell Drive, Dunlap, TN 37327. Bids will be
    accepted until 12:00 noon CT, July 26, 2024. Late Bids will not be accepted. Bids will be opened
    on July 29 th at noon. For more information contact the Board of Education at (423) 949-3617.

    The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.

    Application for Grant Funding

    21st Century Community Learning Centers 

    The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program provides federal funding to establish community learning centers. These centers provide students with opportunities for academic enrichment, youth development, and family support during non-school hours or during periods when school is not in session. The 21st Century Community Learning Centers provide a broad array of services, programs, and activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students. Activities offered will include daily homework assistance, STEAM enrichment, social and emotional learning, physical fitness, and community partnerships. 

    Sequatchie County Schools have been operating a 21st CCLC program for the last 20 years. This proposed grant will serve Griffith Elementary  K-4 students before school, after school, and summer camp. The application deadline is April 1, 2024.
