My name is Melissa Hendrick.  I want to welcome you to my 5th grade science and social studies class.  I have been teaching at Sequatchie County Middle School for 24 1/2 years.  All with the 5th grade!  I graduated from SCHS in 1988.  I graduated from UTC in 1992 with a Bachelor's degree  in Elementary Education.  Then, in 1995 I went back to school at Tennessee Tech and graduated in 1997 with a Master's degree in Administration and Supervision. I have been married for 27 years to James.  We have 2 children, Chandler and Libby.  I am looking forward to a great year and to getting to know each of you.
