Welcome to 2019-2020

    School Year

My name is Ms. Tracey Jackson, and I am so excited about joining the SCHS faculty as well as looking forward to seeing many of my former students.  This school year marks my eighteenth year teaching in Sequatchie County and my twenty third year all together.

I grew up in Georgia and attending Georgia College and State University where I graduated with a Bachelors in Middle Grades Education.  After graduation, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky where I taught 6th grade Social Studies for 5 years.  My family moved to Dunlap in 2002, and I was lucky to get a job at the middle school where I have taught 8th grade for 17 years.  Several years ago, I added secondary English to my license so I could teach older students when the time was right.

This year will be a new chapter in my book, and I look forward to teaching English 11, ACT Prep, Speech and Communication, and Bible.   If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
