2026-2027 GES School Supply Lists

It's hard to believe, but a brand-new school year is right around the corner. Whether you're the proud parent of a brand-new kindergartner or you've been through a few back-to-school seasons already, we're here to help make the transition as smooth and stress-free as possible.

We've put together updated supply lists for all Griffith Elementary grade levels. These lists include everything your student will need to kick off the year ready to learn, stay organized, and feel confident from day one.

Each list has been carefully created by our amazing staff with both classroom needs and student comfort in mind. From crayons and scissors to notebooks and headphones, we've thought through the essentials so you don't have to second-guess what to grab at the store.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back and start another exciting chapter of learning, growing, and having fun!

$25 may be given instead of purchasing supplies. Checks should be made payable to Griffith Elementary School. Please put student name in the memo section of the check. Please put student name in the memo section of the check.

Kindergarten Supply List

• 2 packs - #2 wooden pencils (sharpened if possible)
• 4 boxes - 24-count Crayola crayons
• 1 pack - black Expo dry erase markers (student use)
• 6 packs - Elmer's glue sticks
• 1 bottle - Elmer's school glue
• 1 - 2-pocket folders with fasteners (metal prongs)
• 1 pair - Fiskars scissors
• 1 - large block eraser
• 2 packs - white 3" x 5" index cards

Additional Supplies

• Girls: 2 boxes of Kleenex & 3 packs of baby wipes
• Boys: 3 rolls of paper towels & 2 packs of Clorox wipes

• 1 - spiral bound 1-subject notebook (wide-ruled, 70-sheet)

• 1 pack - 4-count black Expo, chisel tip, dry erase markers
• 1 - pair of headphones or ear buds (not wireless or bluetooth)
• 1 package - pen style highlighters (yellow)
• 1 pack - copy paper

• 1 pack - yellow highlighters
• 1 pack - colored pencils
• 1 pack - 8 count black Expo, chisel tip, dry erase markers
