2026 Kindergarten Registration

Griffith Elementary School is excited to welcome our newest learners! Kindergarten registration for the upcoming school year will take place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, with 2 convenient time options available with no appointment necessary! Just stop by during one of these time slots:

• 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
• 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The registration is for children who will be 5 years old on or before August 15, 2026.

What to Bring?

To complete your child's registration, please make sure to bring the following required doucments:

• Verification of Birth History
• Social Security Card (optional)
• Immunization record on the Tennessee Form
• Proof of a physical within 1 year of the start of school (must be dated after August 3, 2025) or an appointment card for a scheduled phsyical
• Proof of Sequatchie County residency (examples include a current electric or water bill, property tax receipt, deed, or renter's receipt with name and phone number)
• Valid photo ID of the parent or guardian

Please note: Without the required documents, you will not be able to register your child.

Important Information

• A parent or legal guardian must be present to register the child
• Children do not need to attend registration
• Families will have the opportunity to sign up for Kinder Camp
• Kindergarten supply lists will be available
• Please park in the front and enter through the main lobby
