Board Member (District 8)

Debbie Adams was first elected to the Sequatchie County Board of Education in August, 2018 to represent District 8 – Lone Oak Community. She is a graduate of Sequatchie County High School, and received a B.S. degree from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and an M.S. degree from Central Michigan State University. Adams retired from Chattanooga State Community College in 2021 after a 40-year career in various leadership positions. 

She is active in the community, serving on numerous community boards. She has been a mentor for high school students through TnAchieves for 7 years and was most recently inducted into the 2022 TnAchieves Mentor Hall of Fame.
